With the help of our friends at Cowan Gunteski, Royal Limo, and the Lakewood Blueclaws, we made great memories for 2 families. On May 9, 2006, Eric Mavil lost his 4 year old little brother to cancer. The Foundation assisted the family with their bills; and on July 15, 2006, Eric and his family and friends were treated to a special night at a Blueclaws game.
Jake, Family, & Friends
On Father’s Day June 18, 2007, 11 yr. old Jake Healy was to join his friends and family at a Blueclaws game. Unfortunately, Jake was admitted into the hospital and could not attend the game. Jake’s friends threw out a first pitch; and Jake’s younger brother Colton and friends thoroughly enjoyed themselves in their luxury suite with lots of food and desserts. Jake’s 8 yr. old little brother said it was the best day of his life. We are already making new plans to bring smiles to Jake, his family, and friends.
